Detoxification

Many people experience uncomfortable withdrawal symptoms when getting off substances. In some cases, withdrawals can even be dangerous or life-threatening. This is true for both illicit and legal substances with a high potential for addiction. The purpose of a medical detoxification or “detox” program is to help you get off of drugs and alcohol safely with less discomfort. Our detox program provides 24/7 medical supervision and access to medications that can ease withdrawal symptoms or cravings when applicable. 

Residential inpatient

Our inpatient drug and alcohol rehab center near Nebraska is located on a beautiful and private 38-acre campus in the Midwest. In residential inpatient treatment, your daily schedule will consist of meals, individual therapy, process groups, group discussions, free time, recreation, and more. Though not everyone starts with this level of care, residential inpatient treatment is often recommended for incoming clients because it provides a drug and alcohol-free living space with 24/7 access to treatment staff and all of our on-site amenities. In turn, you can develop important skills and build new patterns that set you up for long-term success away from everyday life triggers.

Partial hospitalization 

Partial hospitalization programs (PHP) are one step below inpatient treatment. Also called partial day treatment, PHP can be an initial form of treatment for incoming clients or a step-down form of care for those transitioning out of a residential inpatient program. As the most intensive variation of outpatient treatment, PHP involves a full daily treatment schedule similar to what you’d expect in a residential inpatient program. However, unlike inpatient treatment, PHP clients return home or to our sober living facilities after treatment is over for the day. Benefits of PHP include but aren’t limited to increased independence and affordability. 

Intensive outpatient 

Intensive outpatient programs (IOP) are the next step below partial hospitalization. Similar to PHP, IOP might be the level of care you are admitted to initially, or it could serve as a step-down form of care if you have already completed residential inpatient or PHP. The main difference between PHP and IOP is that intensive outpatient programs are more flexible and give clients additional free time for external commitments outside of treatment. Usually, a daily schedule in IOP at ARISTA Recovery will entail 3-4 hours of treatment per day. 

Outpatient 

Outpatient is the least intensive level of care. Clients in outpatient programs are usually ready to engage in daily life activities such as work or school but still benefit from therapy and treatment at least a few days per week. Your outpatient schedule will depend on your specific needs but may consist of assorted activities, such as weekly individual therapy sessions and groups. 

Sober living

ARISTA Recovery owns sober living facilities, also called halfway houses or supportive housing. Sober living isn’t the same as an inpatient treatment facility. Instead, sober living refers to apartment-like homes developed to support the recovery process that are strictly substance-free. In research, sober living is shown to promote positive outcomes in addiction recovery. Likely, this is because sober living combines the independence of a typical living space like an apartment with rules, responsibilities, amenities, and routines conducive to recovery.
