Tracy Fogliasso

Tracy earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2010 and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012 from Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. She has been licensed as a master’s level psychologist since 2015 in the state of Kansas and is currently working towards completing her Licensed Master’s in Addiction Counseling. Tracy has worked in mental health for almost 10 years including: 6 years at Osawatomie State Hospital working with forensic patients adjudicated Not Guilty by Reason of Insanity as well as multiple crisis units at this facility, through Cottonwood Springs doing intake assessments and crisis de-escalation, and served on the Crisis Response Team through the Behavioral Health Assessment Center at Advent Health Shawnee Mission Medical Center. Most recently, she worked on the Justice Team through Johnson County Mental Health providing mental health and dual diagnosis services to incarcerated individuals and completed risk assessments for the recently arrested. Tracy has specialties in diagnosing mental health and substance abuse disorders/dual diagnosis, psychopharmacology, and providing both individual and group therapy using a variety of modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavioral therapy, and positive psychology. Tracy has recently chosen to return to primarily treating substance abuse disorders as her undergraduate specialty was in this field; and recognizes the substantial impact that substance abuse has had on society particularly with the opioid epidemic. In her spare time, Tracy enjoys spending time with her parents and her cats as well as watching as many serial killer documentaries as possible.
